Hi everyone.  Well, I finally found a day to do a job that I have been putting off for almost a year - It's the bathroom in the French house. Not sure why I was so hesitant with this one but must admit I was a teensy bit worried about what glue to use and about not messing up such a delicate process.  The bathroom maker (Lenham Potteries) suggests using epoxy resin and gluing the items to an untreated unpainted surface - too late! - my bathroom has a rough textured surface that's already painted with emulsion.  I had no choice but to find a good glue and hope for the best and here's the result. I hope you like it.

The first piece to be stuck in place was the downpipe for the toilet.. at this point the toilet bowl is not stuck down it's just sitting in position to hold the pipe...

On top of the pipe goes the cistern.  This piece is quite heavy and only sticks to the wall by a thin edge as you can see from the next picture down so I had to hold it in place for a long time while the glue stuck...

Then came the brackets each side of the cistern...
and then I could breathe out again!

The toilet bowl was then stuck to the floor...

And the sink was stuck to the floor and along the wall...and the bath was stuck to the floor...
And here's the finished result.  I have yet to check on it this morning but here's hoping it's still all stuck in place!

Have fun x
